I wish I didn’t like Boba tea so much, but even if I had the will power, the bright welcoming fuzzy pink of Ume overpowers it. The drinks are tasty (even at the low-sugar levels I choose) and the Bunny Surprise drinks are always fun (I give them to my niece — it’s a surprise for us both!). This one is on CalAve, pretty much the de facto post-dinner dessert spot, so I’ll usually stop by when I’m here for a drink. Someday I’ll have that will power to resist. Someday.

Super cute from outside to inside. I’m a big fan of pink and this place offers cute bunny merchandise and a variety of unique drinks such as seasonal lychee watermelon green tea and mango strawberry green tea. I was hoping they would serve the drink in the Golden Gate Bridge and bunny cup, but I guess that was a limited edition cup. For snacks, they offer typical Taiwanese items like popcorn chicken and fries. The cleanliness is something they need to work on cus the floor is dirty and sticky.

I came here with my friend and oh my gosh I absolutely love this place! We got the strawberry matcha and combo with popcorn chicken and fries. The fries were so crispy yet so soft in the inside while the chicken was so crispy juicy and tender! We will definitely come back soon!

I tried a different Ume location a while ago and finally got around to trying it again, and it was much better than I remembered! They have unique and quirky drinks, which were way cheaper than I remember them being. I would come here again when I want some casual boba. Beware that there is a long line and they have a lot of delivery and online orders. It does take forever for your drink to come!

The good: Lovely place! I always come here, even had a snack here for my birthday once. I love their new chicken. I wish they would bring back the "super spicy" chicken. My favorite drink is the strawberry matcha! Love the staff in this particular location. They always play good music and are friendly. It shows that they work hard, too! Thank you for the great service! Areas for improvement: The decor is cute, but space itself could use more furniture, as it is quite busy and many people do not have a place to sit. Also cushions! Because the wall seating is concrete and not the most comfortable. Other recommendations: I think having more sauce options for the snacks could be nice!
